About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Solutions Manager to spearhead a team of developers within Dayforce's Innovation Solutions unit. This position integrates technical leadership, team management, and solution delivery to create a variety of scalable tools, automation processes, and solutions that enhance internal teams such as Services, Implementation, Customer Success, and Support. The incumbent will be instrumental in propelling innovation by producing impactful solutions that elevate efficiency, scalability, and user experience. A robust technical background in contemporary development stacks, cloud infrastructure, and AI-powered technologies is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor developers, nurturing a team culture centered on innovation, accountability, and ongoing enhancement.
• Direct the design and implementation of scalable automation and tool solutions supporting various internal business units.
• Manage the entire software development lifecycle from concept through deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple teams to spot opportunities and deliver solutions that add business value.
• Convert business problems into technical solutions and oversee their execution.
• Define and uphold architecture, coding standards, testing protocols, and deployment best practices.
• Guarantee that solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with enterprise and cloud architecture principles.
• Evaluate risks, dependencies, and effects on existing systems when introducing new features.
• Deliver technical support via code reviews, architectural guidance, and hands-on involvement when necessary.
• Champion agile methodologies and ongoing delivery practices within the team.

Required Experience and Skills

• At least 5 years of experience leading and managing software development teams.
• Proficient in Python, C#, and modern JavaScript frameworks like React.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure.
• Knowledgeable about AI/ML technologies and their application in business solutions.
• Solid understanding of modern web technologies including HTML, CSS, APIs, and JSON.
• Expertise with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience working in agile development settings.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating enterprise-level internal tools and automation.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
• Skilled in designing secure, scalable APIs.
• Knowledge of analytics or reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Experience operating within large, cross-functional organizations.

This position reports to Hiring Manager David Arroyo and Recruiter Jasbeer Keramuth. The role is classified under Grade 10.
