Team Overview
The Marketing Partnerships Creative team at Netflix consists of three main disciplines: Brand Strategy, Creative, and Creative Production. This team collaborates closely with external brands, agencies, and internal cross-functional partners to craft impactful campaigns, activations, sponsorships, and innovative marketing solutions. The team’s focus is to ensure that all creative work is strategically sound, high in quality, and flawlessly executed.
Role Summary
This role supports the Ads Marketing team, which shapes Netflix's core advertising positioning and leads go-to-market strategies that bring this positioning to life through compelling messaging and narratives. It focuses on creating awareness and enthusiasm among advertising partners through various sales and non-sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full creative process from strategy and concept through execution for diverse assets such as presentations, videos, motion graphics, print, web, email, social media, and major events or activations.
- Identify and cultivate new partnerships with creative vendors and collaborators, while strengthening relationships with existing top-tier creative talent.
- Manage and provide mentorship to external agencies, contracted art directors, copywriters, designers, and video editors, setting priorities and quality standards to achieve excellent outcomes.
- Conduct onboarding and familiarization of new agency partners with the Netflix Ads brand, creative guidelines, platform, and workflows.
- Establish and monitor quality control protocols to ensure high standards across all creative outputs that meet the needs of the Ads teams and Netflix business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with Creative Production and Operations teams to guarantee projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
- Work cross-functionally with global and regional teams including Ads Marketing, Creative Marketing, Measurement, Product Marketing, Content, Creative Production, and Communications.
Candidate Requirements
- Over 10 years of progressive experience in senior integrated creative roles, ideally at the creative director level, within design, entertainment, advertising, or related sectors.
- A diverse portfolio showcasing impactful work across multiple industries and a deep enthusiasm for leveraging Ads Marketing creatively in B2B contexts.
- Strong passion for advertising, media, marketing, brands, and entertainment industries.
- Proven leadership and management abilities to inspire and lead cross-functional and external teams.
- Experience working across EMEA markets with a thorough understanding of varied local market conditions and cultures.
- Excellent storytelling, communication, and presentation skills.
- Background in brand and/or consumer marketing; experience with partnerships is advantageous.
- Commitment to dedicating necessary time and effort, sometimes prioritizing team goals over personal ones.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Proficient in design tools including Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
