About the Role
This position supports one of Weekday's clients, a leading luxury real estate company based in Bengaluru. It requires a seasoned professional with over three years of relevant experience to manage contracts and procurement activities on a full-time, onsite basis.
Key Responsibilities
In the Contracts domain, the role includes drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts involving contractors, consultants, vendors, and suppliers. It involves overseeing contract execution, amendments, variation orders, claims, and closures while ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, company policies, and legal requirements. Coordination with project, legal, finance, and engineering departments to address commercial and contractual issues is crucial. Additionally, maintaining comprehensive contract documentation and mitigating associated risks is expected.
Regarding Procurement, responsibilities cover sourcing and procuring construction-related materials such as MEP items, finishing materials, and project services. The candidate will identify, evaluate, and cultivate vendor and subcontractor relationships. Conducting techno-commercial assessments and negotiating costs, payment terms, and delivery timelines are essential. The role also requires ensuring procurement aligns with project schedules and budgets, monitoring supplier performance, quality, and delivery compliance.
