Job description
Position Overview
The Commercial Development Manager for Life Long Nutrition will spearhead sustainable growth for the Total Nutrition category by transforming consumer, shopper, and channel insights into impactful commercial strategies. This role collaborates extensively with major customers and internal teams to ensure exemplary execution, optimize commercial investments, enhance promotional impact, and guarantee compliance in all activities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement category and channel strategies that drive growth in Total Nutrition, aligned with consumer behaviors and market dynamics.
- Utilize IMS data, retail audits, sell-out figures, and market trends to identify business opportunities and devise winning trade and customer plans.
- Establish and nurture profitable, long-term partnerships with leading customers in Saudi Arabia through strategic alignment and diligent follow-up.
- Manage customer budgets effectively by reviewing annual investment plans and monitoring expenditures to maximize resource utilization.
- Assess promotional initiatives via a Keep/Modify/Drop framework to enhance return on investment and trade spending efficiency.
- Oversee category planning and performance tracking, pinpoint growth drivers, analyze MBPC performance, and close execution gaps.
- Define and roll out 'Picture of Success' guidelines to ensure outstanding product availability, visibility, and merchandising execution both in-store and online.
- Maintain strict compliance with the WHO Code and all Nestlé commercial policies across all activities.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of two years' experience in a managerial capacity.
- Experience in nutrition-related sectors is advantageous.
- Exceptional leadership qualities, a strong sense of ownership, adaptability, and outstanding communication skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders without formal authority and collaborate effectively across diverse teams and functions.
