Role Overview
This position involves joining the Open Pit Mobile Maintenance team at the renowned KCGM Superpit Operation, which has a mine life exceeding 10 years. The role operates on a 14 days on/14 days off residential roster in Kalgoorlie, offering a long-term career path.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Mobile Maintenance Team and Dispatch to ensure mechanical maintenance tasks are executed safely, promptly, professionally, and effectively.
- Assist the team with basic maintenance duties including servicing and refueling, among other tasks.
- Provide input for continuous improvement of departmental systems and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of two years experience in a Mobile Maintenance role, preferably operating a service truck within a mining environment.
- Basic knowledge of preventative maintenance practices.
- Experience handling Ultra Class Mining Equipment.
- Proficient computer skills to use integrated management systems (such as Pronto), word processing, and spreadsheets.
- Ability to detect machine faults and safety concerns.
- Possession of Western Australian Construction White Card, current "C" and "HR" Class Western Australian Drivers Licences.
- Preferred certifications include HRWL for Forklift, Elevated Work Platform (EWP), and Working At Heights training.
