About the Role
As a Maintenance Assistant at Dalata Hotel Group, you'll be trained at our Dalata Academy to develop essential skills and supported by experienced colleagues who will guide your professional growth. Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manage daily maintenance tasks including painting, decorating, and gardening using available resources.
- Conduct preventative maintenance routines in areas such as tiling, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Diagnose and resolve problems related to equipment and control systems.
- Support plumbers and electricians in addressing issues affecting hotel systems.
- Collaborate closely with all hotel departments to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure all maintenance work adheres to professional quality and safety standards.
- Follow health and safety guidelines and HACCP procedures rigorously.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Hospitality experience is advantageous but not required.
- Possession of Safe Pass certification is beneficial.
- Trade qualifications in painting, plumbing, construction, or similar fields are preferred.
- Self-motivated with strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple duties effectively.
- Detail-focused with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Capability to handle tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
- Flexible availability for varying work hours.
- Proficient in English communication.
