Maintenance Aide

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on building, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Inspect and service kitchen appliances, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, water softeners, and hot water equipment
• Carry out painting, minor construction projects, and general repairs
• Maintain roof exhausts, ventilation systems, and kitchen filters according to maintenance schedules
• Ensure safe access by clearing entrances, sidewalks, and fire exits of snow and ice
• Assist with exterior upkeep including mowing grass, weeding, snow removal, and general grounds maintenance

Essential Qualifications

• Completion of high school education or equivalent
• Previous experience in general maintenance and repair work
• Familiarity with machinery, building trades, and operational environments
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
