About the Role

At botario, you will focus on developing machine learning models that go beyond experimental notebooks to real-world production environments. You will be building the ML infrastructure underlying our AI agents, from initial experimentation through training up to efficient deployment. The field is dynamic and fast-paced, providing ample opportunities to grow as you develop each model.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, train, and fine-tune deep learning models from initial experiments to production deployment.
• Stay updated with open-source projects and research developments, evaluate new models and architectures, and build upon leading ideas.
• Develop training and evaluation pipelines that enable precise quality measurement rather than guesswork.
• Deploy your models into production, managing efficient serving, version control, and monitoring.
• Gain expertise in new domains and fully internalize them.

Required Qualifications

• Strong background in machine learning with proficient knowledge of PyTorch; model training is a routine task for you.
• No prior audio or speech experience required, but curiosity and strong PyTorch skills are essential; domain knowledge will be developed on the job.
• Ability to read, reproduce, and extend academic papers and open-source code.
• Excellent Python programming skills and willingness to engage with unfamiliar topics.
• Desirable: experience deploying models into production environments.
• Team-oriented working style and familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Fluent communication skills in English; German proficiency is a plus.
