Logistics and Supply Chain Management Expert

Role Overview

This position involves serving as a Logistics and Supply Chain Management Expert on a contract basis, working remotely. The expert will be responsible for evaluating logistics documentation and processes to ensure authenticity, accuracy, and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough reviews and analysis of logistics documents including packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory registers to verify authenticity and compliance.
• Develop annotated examples of documentation that demonstrate logistics and supply chain management best practices.
• Assess current supply chain workflows and recommend practical improvements based on extensive industry experience.
• Provide comprehensive feedback on logistics scenarios, focusing on document architecture and process enhancement.
• Engage with project teams to elucidate requirements and simplify complex logistics concepts through effective communication.
• Participate in quality assurance activities by confirming the validity and accuracy of supply chain data sets.
• Assist in creating educational materials and resources that reflect industry standards and address intricate supply chain challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of practical experience in logistics and supply chain management, with specific exposure to packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory registers.
• Deep understanding of logistics workflows, documentation requirements, and international supply chain operations.
• Exceptional English communication skills, capable of explaining technical ideas clearly.
• High attention to detail in reviewing and producing supply chain documentation.
• Proven ability to analyze and suggest process improvements within a logistics framework.
• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is advantageous.
• Self-motivated with the capability to operate effectively in a remote work setup, delivering quality output punctually.
