About Evolution Mining and Role Overview

The Light Vehicle Fitter position is based at the Mungari Operations and involves maintaining and repairing a fleet of over 100 light vehicles used both underground and on the surface.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure continuous operation by servicing and repairing a diverse fleet of underground and surface light vehicles.
- Identify faults efficiently and perform high-quality repairs to enhance vehicle reliability, minimise downtime, and promote safety.
- Perform preventative maintenance to keep vehicles at optimal performance consistent with site standards.
- Engage actively in hazard identification, risk control measures, and safety programs to maintain a secure work environment.
- Support continuous improvement by proposing enhancements to equipment reliability, maintenance protocols, and workshop productivity.
- Collaborate with operational and maintenance teams to guarantee vehicle availability meets business demands.
Work Conditions and Schedule
The role follows a 7:7 roster with 12-hour shifts and offers either residential opportunities in Kalgoorlie or FIFO arrangements from Perth.

Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical or an equivalent trade qualification
- Valid manual driver’s license
- Experience working with Toyota vehicle fleets
- Possession of Dangerous Goods Security Clearance
- Desirable experience maintaining underground light vehicles
- Strong knowledge of safe work procedures and work management systems
