Light duty cleaner

Overview

Ocean Village Beach Resort is hiring a light duty cleaner for its property in Tofino, British Columbia. This is an on-site position, so the work must be done at the physical workplace and cannot be performed remotely.

Education and Experience

No degree, certificate, or diploma is needed. Prior experience is not required, as training will be provided.

Work Setting

Key Duties

• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing.
• Remove dust from furniture and surfaces.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, drapes, and upholstered items.
• Prepare rooms by making beds and replacing sheets.
• Refresh guest supplies such as towels and toiletries.
• Maintain linen storage areas.
• Clean, sanitize, and polish kitchen and bathroom fittings and appliances.
• Collect, record, and pass along lost-and-found items.
• Respond to guest requests for additional supplies or items.
• Share basic information about the property and its facilities.
• Pick up litter and empty waste bins.
• Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
