Lead Auditor

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Auditor to oversee comprehensive internal audit engagements within our financial services entity based in Dublin. This role entails leading audit projects, assessing risks, and reviewing internal controls across the EMEA region.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conducting and managing full lifecycle internal audit assignments for the Ireland entity.
• Identifying potential risks and evaluating the effectiveness of internal control structures across EMEA.
• Providing supervisory oversight to the Audit function, delivering actionable recommendations to improve governance and operational processes.
• Handling multiple audit projects simultaneously within a regulated financial services framework.
• Guiding and supporting the professional growth of junior audit team members.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least five years of auditing experience specifically within Ireland's financial services sector.
• Proven track record leading audit engagements and presenting findings to an Audit Committee.
• Comprehensive understanding of risk management, internal controls, and corporate governance.
• Familiarity with fast-moving environments in the financial services industry.
