About the Role

Mon Amaar Tailoring & Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Ladies Tailor to join their team in Kolkata. The role involves stitching designer blouses with meticulous finishing, specializing in both padded and non-padded varieties. Precision in measurements and perfect fitting are essential, along with expertise in alterations and detailed finishing tasks. The tailor will also be responsible for attaching hooks, dori, cups, lining, and other finishing accessories, while adhering closely to design references to create custom blouses. Maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines are critical aspects of this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Stitch designer blouses ensuring premium-quality finish.
• Work on padded and non-padded blouse types with accuracy.
• Take precise measurements to guarantee proper garment fitting.
• Undertake alterations and finishing adjustments.
• Attach necessary accessories such as hooks, dori, cups, and linings.
• Interpret design references to produce bespoke blouse designs.
• Maintain quality benchmarks and complete assignments within given timelines.

Qualifications & Experience

• At least 2 years of professional experience in stitching ladies' blouses.
• Proficiency in princess-cut tailoring, designer necklines, and boutique-style workmanship.
• Capability to work autonomously with keen attention to detail.
• Skillful in handling fabrics like silk, cotton, organza, tissue, and other ethnic textiles.
• Personal qualities of honesty, punctuality, and commitment to high-quality output.
