Labourer/Helper

Reliance Home Comfort is seeking a Labourer/Helper to support its installation and warehouse operations in Barrie, Ontario. This position is part of a growth-focused team environment where dependable people can build their skills, contribute to service quality, and advance within the company.

What You’ll Do

• Support the team by handling HVAC equipment and materials, including organizing stock, loading and unloading items, and recording serialized equipment in the system.
• Prepare HVAC equipment and materials before installation work begins.
• Keep stock counts updated and report inventory levels so work is not delayed by missing materials.
• Carry out deliveries when installation crews need items transported.
• Load and unload materials at job locations as required.
• Help installation crews with daily truck checks and make sure routine vehicle maintenance is followed.
• Coordinate with installation, sales, and WFP teams to keep installation records, model and serial numbers, and related customer documentation accurate and moving smoothly.
• Refurbish water heaters and remove newer components from units that are being scrapped.

What You Bring

• A dependable, ambitious mindset and a willingness to grow with the company.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Solid organizational skills.
• Basic computer knowledge, including scanning, email, and data collection.
• The ability to follow direction and work with limited supervision.
• The physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and more with assistance.
• A valid Class G driver’s license.
• The ability to work in all assigned areas.
• The ability to use a wheeler to move water heaters.
• A valid Class 5 driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Grade 12 completion or an equivalent level of education.
