Laboratory Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to support various molecular biology and microbiology laboratory operations at our facility. The candidate will contribute to laboratory maintenance, sample handling, and assist in experimental research under supervision.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with routine laboratory tasks relating to molecular biology and microbiology.
• Prepare various media, reagents, buffers, and consumable laboratory materials.
• Conduct molecular biology procedures including DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, and gel electrophoresis under guidance.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, documentation, and experimental data logs.
• Support sample collection, proper processing, and storage procedures.
• Adhere strictly to laboratory safety standards and ensure cleanliness of the work environment.
• Collaborate with researchers on ongoing research and development projects and experiments.
• Participate in data entry, preliminary analysis, and assist in compiling technical reports.
