Role Overview

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician based in Freising (near Munich) who will contribute to ensuring delicious and safe products through chemical-physical, sensory, and microbiological tests. The position operates on a 3-shift system.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical, physical, sensory, and microbiological laboratory analyses within a three-shift rotation, ensuring product quality and safety.
• Test raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods such as milk and butter according to sampling plans, supporting the entire production flow from milk arrival to final product.
• Document testing results thoroughly and collaborate closely with quality management, production, and technical departments.
• Support analysis efforts for new product development within research and development.
• Participate in designing and validating new analytical methods.

Candidate Profile

• Completed vocational training as a dairy laboratory technician, agricultural technical assistant, biology or chemistry lab technician, BTA, CTA, or similar qualification.
• Preferably, initial practical experience in microbiological or chemical-physical laboratory analytics.
• Comfortable with shift work including early, late, night shifts, weekends, and holidays, compensated with attractive bonuses and additional vacation days.
• Good command of written and spoken German.
• High attention to detail, reliability, and flexibility to effectively support the team.
