Role Summary

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Kitchen Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing commercial kitchen appliances, ensuring all equipment functions seamlessly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on various commercial kitchen appliances.
• Accurately diagnose and fix issues with ovens, grills, fryers, steamers, mixers, dishwashers, hot holding units, and additional food preparation tools.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures promptly to minimize downtime and restore kitchen operations swiftly.
• Perform regular inspections to guarantee all machinery operates safely and efficiently.
• Respond to urgent maintenance needs during restaurant operating hours.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs and report major repair requirements to management.
• Ensure all repairs comply with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
• Organize and manage tools, spare parts, and the maintenance workspace effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess 2 to 5 years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment within restaurants, hotels, or food and beverage environments.
• Comprehensive understanding of installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial kitchen devices.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities.
• Able to work efficiently under pressure and handle emergency repair situations promptly.
• Technical certification or diploma related to the role is preferred.
• Experience working in the UAE is advantageous.
