Overview
We are seeking a Key Account Manager to join our Corporate Channel team in Mumbai. The role focuses on advancing MakeMyTrip's business travel platform, MyBiz, which caters to over 50,000 corporate clients by providing a flexible self-booking solution integrated within organizational workflows. This position is critical in nurturing and expanding key corporate accounts through strategic partnership, operational excellence, and strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business growth by increasing revenue within large account portfolios and expanding usage across multiple business lines in client organizations.
- Build and maintain deep, multi-tier relationships within corporate clients to enhance client satisfaction, reduce churn, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Lead strategic client engagements, conducting Quarterly Joint Business Reviews to assess performance, identify opportunities, and align with clients' goals.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to the account management team, promoting accountability, data-informed decision-making, and operational rigor.
- Collaborate closely with operations, supply, and product teams to meet client requirements and optimize service delivery.
Candidate Profile
- Postgraduate degree from a reputed institution with 4 to 6 years of experience in key account management, customer success, or strategic client engagement.
- Proven experience handling multi-level client relationships and executing structured engagement forums like JBRs.
- Strong commercial acumen including understanding commission and discount strategies, and experience managing P&L fundamentals.
- Data-driven with excellent analytical skills to solve complex business challenges.
- Effective communicator who can build trust across senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams and confidently present strategic narratives to executive leadership.
