Overview
We are assisting a thriving mid-sized trading enterprise based in Dubai with hiring a Junior Financial Controller to cover their Dubai and Singapore operations. This role offers the chance to contribute to a growing organization known for its robust market presence by delivering top-quality financial reports and aiding strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Guarantee adherence to applicable accounting standards.
- Manage closing processes at the end of each month and fiscal year.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and uphold rigorous financial controls.
- Support audits and coordinate with external audit teams.
- Collaborate with internal departments to provide meaningful financial insights.
- Drive enhancements in financial processes and systems.
- Assist with regulatory submissions and statutory reporting obligations.
Candidate Profile
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar credentials.
- Strong technical knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Experience in corporate or financial accounting roles.
- Background in asset management, financial services, or SaaS sectors is advantageous.
- Meticulous attention to accounting details and technical accuracy.
- Capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
