Currently, we support a leading German logistics provider expanding its business, requiring new automated workflows and refined reporting structures to maintain efficient operations.

We are seeking a Junior Automation Specialist to join our team in a permanent full-time position. This role involves supporting senior consultants by maintaining and developing automation scripts to ensure client systems operate smoothly. The position offers full remote work, providing flexibility while collaborating with a team that values technical precision over jargon. It is a paid role with a competitive entry-level salary.

Responsibilities

Assist senior consultants with configuring and fine-tuning enterprise performance management (EPM) tools.
Create and maintain fundamental automation scripts using Python or SQL to streamline repetitive data entry and reporting.
Handle large datasets to ensure accurate cleansing and formatting before integration into client systems.
Develop configuration guides and technical documentation to help clients comprehend the functionality of their automations.
Monitor existing workflows for errors and troubleshoot straightforward data inconsistencies.
Participate in internal code and configuration reviews to uphold standards of transparency and dependability.
Contribute to developing a unified data source for the German logistics provider by linking diverse data origins.

Requirements

Basic coding knowledge, especially in Python or comparable scripting languages.
Understanding of SQL and relational database principles.
Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on numeric accuracy and data verification.
Strong written communication skills capable of explaining technical procedures clearly for documentation.
Educational background in computer science, information systems, finance, or related disciplines.
