Role Overview

The Investment Memorandum Manager will work remotely on a full-time basis, producing high-quality investment memoranda and supporting documentation that facilitate deal evaluation and decision-making within TCS VC. Key responsibilities include synthesizing both quantitative and qualitative information, conducting market and competitive research, and crafting clear and concise narratives that define the investment thesis and highlight key risks related to frontier-technology investments. Daily tasks involve close collaboration with investment partners to collect deal data, analyzing company performance and financial forecasts, and simplifying complex subjects spanning Fintech, Crypto, Gaming, AI, and BioTech for wider understanding. The role requires ensuring documentation maintains consistent standards, updating memoranda with evolving information, and aiding internal knowledge sharing and portfolio reporting efforts.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience or strong foundation in investment management, particularly in venture capital, private equity, or growth-stage investment contexts.
• Advanced analytical capability, comfortable with financial modeling, data analysis, and assessment of market competition and dynamics.
• Solid understanding of investment strategies and financial principles, including portfolio construction, unit economics, and risk-return evaluation.
• Exceptional written communication skills to develop well-structured investment documents and executive summaries.
• Prior experience or a keen interest in frontier technologies such as Fintech, Crypto, Gaming, AI, or BioTech.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage several projects and meet deadlines effectively in a remote setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively across various time zones, coordinating with investment partners, founders, and external advisors.
• A bachelor's or higher degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative or analytical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
