Investment Fund Analyst

Role Overview

We are searching for an Investment Fund Analyst to join a pre-seed and seed stage tech venture capital fund focusing on early-stage investments, primarily within the Saudi Arabian tech market. This role involves generating insights to enhance the fund's investment decisions, stakeholder interactions, and market opportunity evaluations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point for all internal research demands and lead research efforts for the fund.
• Track new technology trends and company activities, producing detailed reports on targeted sectors.
• Evaluate investment prospects and assist with due diligence tasks including financial modeling, market analysis, and review of financial documents.
• Draft and support investment memos and participate in quarterly strategic reviews.
• Oversee and assess relationships with third-party research providers, managing current and prospective engagements.
• Foster connections with industry analysts and stakeholders within the technology ecosystem.
• Develop expertise with market data providers and tools.
• Offer support and information to technology startups engaging with the fund.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Must hold CME-1 and CME-4 certifications.
• At least one to two years in research, consulting, investment banking, strategic roles, or corporate development in dynamic startup environments.
• Strong academic credentials paired with excellent analytical, judgment, and detail-orientation abilities.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Naturally inquisitive and comfortable handling ambiguous situations.
• Passionate about startups, entrepreneurship, investment, and financial analysis alongside a dedication to ongoing research and learning.
• Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and committed to delivering results.
• Previous experience as a startup founder, including unsuccessful ventures, is considered a significant plus.
