Role Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing all material movements into inventory and performs detailed tracking of cultivation items from plants to finished products within the facility. A key leader in developing processes for inventory control, stock management, and property assignment, the associate supports daily cultivation operations by ensuring compliance-based data accuracy and clear communication along the chain of command.

While chiefly focused on inventory and compliance responsibilities, cross-training in other departmental roles may be required to meet organizational needs.

This is a full-time onsite position based in Las Vegas, NV, with an hourly wage range of $15 to $17.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Accept and process all incoming orders and products, accurately adding them to inventory records.
  • Manage supply and equipment flow while tracking inventory status and developing loss mitigation procedures.
  • Oversee warehouse shipments and deliveries, including product tracking, reordering, and documentation.
  • Maintain and document inventory tracking systems to record all deliveries and shipments.
  • Analyze inventory levels daily to anticipate shortages or inventory challenges and adjust procedures accordingly.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed correctly before materials move in or out of inventory.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper record keeping.
  • Update and maintain METRC system records meticulously to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Evaluate regulated materials such as package tags and plant lots for compliance adherence.
  • Track plant lifecycles from cultivation through sale, including documenting waste disposal and inventory adjustments.
  • Delegate and enforce compliance-related SOPs and provide solutions across the facility.
  • Learn and apply basic cultivation SOP and sanitation principles to support operations.
  • Collaborate as a team member to help meet cultivation goals set by management.
  • Maintain a positive image of the organization internally and externally.
  • Handle routine issues promptly and escalate complex situations to higher management as needed.
  • Support various business objectives through additional duties assigned by supervisors.

Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent organizational skills with effective delegation and follow-up.
  • Physical capabilities include sitting, walking, bending, reaching, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.

  • Motivated, coachable, and driven to succeed with beginning to intermediate subject matter knowledge.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in the legal cannabis market.
  • 1 to 2 years of warehouse or management experience preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years experience in inventory management preferred.
  • At least 2 years of cultivation compliance experience is desirable.

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Availability to work onsite Monday through Friday, with potential weekend and holiday shifts based on operational needs.
  • Ability and willingness to cross-train in various departmental roles.
  • Capability to perform physically demanding tasks including prolonged standing (up to 4 hours), bending, kneeling, twisting, and navigating different temperature environments.
  • Skill in operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
