Overview

We look for talented, motivated individuals to join our International Emerging Stores segment, covering Latam, APAC, MENA, and India. The Finance team plays a pivotal role beyond just number-crunching, blending enthusiasm and insightful problem-solving to support dynamic partnerships across Retail, Operations, Marketing, and Tech departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary FP&A contact for the International Emerging Stores business unit.
  • Develop financial models, deliver analytical support, and validate operational and financial outcomes for the Consumer segment.
  • Maintain rigorous financial controls ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Lead monthly close activities and planning cycles focusing on OPEX and staffing.
  • Oversee IES Stores financials, with an emphasis on OPEX, analyze variances, and implement corrective plans to align results with targets.
  • Collaborate actively with cross-functional finance teams including Payments, Customer Service, Operations, Bad Debts, Prime, and Marketing to analyze actuals and variances.
  • Drive automation initiatives and simplify workflows.
  • Coordinate the entire financial planning process, from assumption alignment and calendar management to system loading and data quality assurance.
  • Deliver accurate and insightful financial reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to adopt global standards and delegate repetitive tasks to global teams.
  • Enhance financial acumen across the organization.
  • Foster talent development both within Finance and in business units.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years experience in tax, finance, or related analytical roles; alternatively, a Master’s degree plus 3 years of finance experience.
  • Preferred: Over 6 years driving continuous improvement projects that scale and improve financial controllership with measurable impact.
  • Experience identifying data quality issues, root cause analysis, and escalation planning.
  • Proven track record mentoring junior finance/business personnel.
  • At least 3 years collaborating with senior executives (such as C-suite).
  • Proficiency with large-scale data mining and reporting tools such as SQL, MS Access, Essbase, or Cognos, with ability to advise management based on ad hoc analyses.
  • Strong background in applying financial key performance indicators (KPIs) within analyses.
  • An MBA or CPA credential is a plus.
