Role Summary

The Internal Coordinator (IC) is tasked with overseeing and supporting a large team of remote Data Collectors (DCs) who record videos of daily household activities. An IC manages upwards of 50 DCs, ensuring they follow guidelines, meet their daily work quotas, and adhere to all operational rules. The position focuses on live coordination, real-time monitoring, and efficient issue resolution.

Who are Data Collectors?

• Individuals working remotely from their homes
• Engaged in recording short mobile phone videos showcasing household tasks
• Assigned clear daily and cumulative hour benchmarks to fulfill

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the activity of 50 or more DCs live during work shifts, identifying those who have started, are active, or lagging behind
• Promptly follow up with idle or delayed DCs to ensure progress
• Ensure completion of targets such as 30 hours over 6 days or 100 hours within 20 days, motivating DCs appropriately
• Enforce compliance with recording rules, including household task focus, video duration (15–30 minutes), and correct camera setups
• Clarify instructions and resolve doubts whenever necessary
• Act as the primary support contact for DCs to troubleshoot app, uploading, task, or device-related issues, coordinating with Field Operations when needed, and escalating unresolved problems
• Manage large WhatsApp groups for communication, sharing daily instructions, updates, and maintaining professionalism
• Maintain and update tracking records such as hours completed, encountered issues, delays, drop-offs, and provide daily status reports to management

Required Skills and Qualities

• Basic proficiency with computers, including familiarity with WhatsApp and Google Sheets
• Strong ability to coordinate and communicate simultaneously with many individuals
• Efficient multitasking and organizational capabilities
• Alertness, responsibility, patience coupled with firmness
• Organized, disciplined, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
