Position Overview

The Human Resources Operations Assistant is responsible for offering comprehensive administrative, clerical, and employee engagement assistance to the HR team. This role involves supporting all HR members, participating in diverse projects, and helping cultivate positive interdepartmental relationships and an engaging employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the employee onboarding process, including issuing offer letters, completing I-9 verifications, and overseeing mandatory training assignments.
  • Coordinate offboarding activities, collaborate with relevant internal teams to ensure smooth processes, prepare termination documentation, and handle company asset collections.
  • Provide back-up operational and administrative support to the HR department when necessary.
  • Enhance workplace environment by maintaining office order, creating employee nameplates, and assisting with team social functions.
  • Organize and facilitate bi-monthly HR Town Hall meetings to boost communication.
  • Support the development and coordination of wellness programs and various employee initiatives.
  • Administer HR engagement programs such as Employee Recognition and Birthday Acknowledgements.
  • Participate regularly in program meetings to relay HR updates and engage staff.
  • Assist in managing the Learning Management System (LMS) including setup, maintenance, feedback collection, and supporting team members’ use of the platform.

Candidate Qualifications

  • At least 1 to 2 years' experience in human resources, people operations, or similar administrative support roles.
