  • Drive employee development by identifying training needs along with managers and coordinating learning and career progression initiatives, including succession planning.
  • Assist managers and employees during performance appraisals, provide guidance on improvement plans, address employee concerns, and encourage ongoing development and equitable treatment across departments and regions.
  • Continuously refine HR operations and policies to meet organizational and individual requirements, acting as a trusted advisor on people matters and supporting employee engagement, culture, and change management.
  • Ensure HR compliance and accurate reporting in collaboration with external advisors, covering labor laws in South Africa and the US, Employment Equity, EEO, BBBEE, and Skills Development programs.
  • Support employee engagement activities with pulse surveys and culture programs, and enhance onboarding and offboarding experiences partnering with external consultants to comply with regional regulations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Over 8 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition and broader HR functions including organizational and employee development.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Human Capital, Organizational Development, or related fields (additional experience may substitute formal education).
  • Proven success in talent management and experience leading HR teams.
  • Excellent communication, consultative skills, and a solution-focused mindset.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting diverse, multinational, multicultural companies.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional setting.
