About the Role
Our client in Tralee, County Kerry is looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to collaborate directly with management and staff to provide both strategic and hands-on HR support. The role is essential in fostering a positive workplace environment, ensuring adherence to relevant employment laws and company policies, and contributing to business goals through proficient people management, employee engagement, and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with managers delivering expert advice and guidance on HR matters.
- Support the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
- Handle employee relations, addressing disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management processes.
- Provide counsel on employment legislation, HR policies, and industry best practices.
- Assist with strategic workforce and succession planning as well as organizational change initiatives.
- Champion initiatives to enhance employee engagement, wellbeing, and professional development.
- Analyze HR metrics and generate reports to aid decision-making processes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
- A university degree or professional qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
- CIPD certification or active progress towards it is preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist role.
- Comprehensive understanding of Irish employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR information systems.
Additional Information
This position is offered on an initial 15-month contract with a hybrid working week arrangement. The salary range is approximately €50,000 to €62,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits are available.
