Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned HR and People Operations Coordinator based in Nashville to elevate the employee experience through all phases of the employee journey—from recruitment and onboarding to ongoing support. This position is perfect for someone who thrives on relationship building, process optimization, and fostering a thriving workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment activities, including interview scheduling and sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Manage candidate communications and hiring logistics to ensure a smooth recruiting process.
- Maintain recruiting statistics and applicant tracking systems.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and shared services to deliver tailored, welcoming onboarding experiences for all new hires, continuously refining these processes as the company evolves.
- Act as a reliable resource for employees, handling benefits enrollments, life events, and annual open enrollment activities.
- Oversee vacation, time off, holiday scheduling, and leave tracking.
- Manage and organize HR systems and employee records ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Coordinate performance review cycles consistently and effectively.
- Support employment documentation and mandatory regulatory reporting timely and accurately.
- Facilitate employee engagement initiatives including recognition programs, milestone celebrations, company events, and internal communications.
- Partner with leadership to ensure consistent, engaging communication about HR programs and company updates.
- Identify and recommend enhancements for HR processes, advocate stronger employee engagement, and aid implementation of new people programs.
- Maintain clear process documentation and support additional HR projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Between 2 to 5 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or people operations.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Comfortable managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
- Customer service oriented with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with HRIS or benefits platforms and LinkedIn Recruiter preferred.
