Role Overview
As a Hotel Operations Manager, you will be the core driving force behind the daily management of multiple Numa properties. Your main tasks involve leading on-site Operations Coordinators to ensure adherence to brand standards, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence. You will use data insights to guide your team, maintain asset integrity, manage budgets, and enforce financial controls. Acting as a decisive leader, you will ensure the seamless functioning of Numa's tech-enabled hospitality model at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies by analyzing operational metrics, guest feedback, and maintenance reports to optimize daily routines and prioritize team efforts effectively.
- Maintain and enhance quality standards by overseeing cleanliness, maintenance, and brand consistency; conduct weekly meetings with external partners to ensure compliance across all properties.
- Manage capital expenditure and facility projects, including preventative maintenance schedules, property upgrades, and coordination with landlords and contractors.
- Lead, mentor, and support on-site Operations Coordinators by providing necessary resources, structure, and guidance to consistently deliver excellent guest services.
- Bridge communication between operational teams and central departments such as Guest Experience, Technology, and Finance to facilitate smooth implementation of company initiatives and share local insights.
- Oversee financial operations including invoice approvals, budget management, profit and loss accuracy, and expense tracking collaborating with financial controllers to optimize resource use.
Candidate Profile
- Fluent in English at C1 level or above.
- Exceptional people management skills with the ability to coach and motivate a geographically distributed hands-on team.
- Strong analytical mindset capable of interpreting data and driving practical improvements in quality and efficiency.
- Prior experience with operational budget management, invoice approval, and financial fundamentals for running a stable operation.
- Demonstrates a proactive and hands-on approach, comfortable working out in the field and leading by example.
- Effective problem solver who proactively addresses persistent challenges before escalation.
- Remains calm and resilient under stressful situations.
- Shows complete ownership of property and team performance without deflecting responsibility.
- Collaborative team player who values collective success.
- Experience in hospitality management, operations, or facility management with proven leadership capability.
