About the Role
Join Four Points by Sheraton in Auckland as a Hotel Cleanliness Expert. This role transcends typical housekeeping duties by creating memorable experiences through impeccable cleanliness and guest interaction. You will be integral to maintaining the hotel’s appearance, ensuring guest areas and rooms are spotless, and assisting with various guest requests to enhance overall satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and personally, maintaining eye contact and using their names when possible.
- Support colleagues to provide prompt and consistent guest service coverage.
- Listen attentively to guest questions, concerns, and requests, addressing issues professionally to build trust and delight them.
- Coordinate with Engineering, service teams, or housekeeping management for urgent repairs or maintenance matters.
- Respond swiftly to requests from guests, Front Desk, or service departments.
- Stock cleaning carts with necessary supplies including chemicals, linens, and amenities.
- Report room conditions such as 'Do Not Disturb' signs or discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
- Execute room cleaning adhering strictly to the Clean Matters guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and replenish supplies in public and employee restrooms.
- Adhere to all company policies to ensure workplace safety, confidentiality, appearance standards, and professional communication.
