Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our team in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This role involves servicing, diagnosing, and repairing heavy diesel vehicles and related systems in the automotive industry. Candidates should be skilled in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diagnostic work and have a trade qualification in heavy vehicle or diesel mechanics.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and diagnose faults in diesel engines, hydraulic, transmission, braking, and steering systems.
• Conduct servicing, preventive maintenance, and repairs for heavy diesel vehicles and equipment.
• Repair or replace engines, gearboxes, differentials, suspension, and brake components as needed.
• Perform electrical and electronic diagnostics utilizing modern diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Interpret technical manuals and repair documentation effectively.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete job cards properly.
• Adhere strictly to workplace health and safety regulations.
• Operate efficiently both independently and within a team environment.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 4 years of recent hands-on experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
• Possess a trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanics.
• Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostic procedures.
• Experience with workshop equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Good command of English communication.
• Valid driving license is preferred.
• Passport readiness is essential.
• Eligibility to meet Australian skills assessment and visa criteria.
