Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive Healthcare Porter based at Hellesdon Hospital, Norwich, to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. This role involves crucial support services in a hospital setting, including patient transportation and logistical assistance, requiring excellent communication and manual task capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently transport patients within the hospital, consistently meeting response and service expectations.
- Handle logistics duties such as delivering medical gas cylinders, equipment, furniture, pharmaceutical items, pathology samples, blood samples, and medication throughout the facility.
- Manage waste and linen collection, including coordinating the removal and disposal of waste and transport of case notes and linens.
- Receive, record, and prioritize job requests in compliance with established procedures to ensure smooth workflow.

Work Schedule and Salary
This full-time position requires 37.5 hours per week, working varied shifts primarily from 08:00 to 16:30. The hourly compensation rate is £12.71.
