Role Overview

The Health Assistant position is a full-time, on-site role located in Dubai. The assistant will aid medical and nursing personnel by handling both clinical and administrative duties. Key tasks include preparing consultation areas, assisting with fundamental clinical procedures, managing patient documentation, and maintaining appointment schedules. The assistant also welcomes and directs patients, supports communication between patients and healthcare teams, ensures patient comfort and safety during visits, and helps maintain hygiene and infection control standards. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, the Health Assistant aims to enhance patient service flow and care quality.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Basic knowledge in allied health and medical terminology to assist in clinical tasks under supervision.
• Excellent organizational capabilities for managing documentation, scheduling, and workflow in a busy clinical setting.
• Preferably holds a diploma or certification in healthcare assistance, nursing support, or allied health fields.
• Prior experience in hospital or clinical environments, understanding of infection control measures, and familiarity with electronic health record or patient management systems is advantageous.
• Ability to work within a multicultural context while respecting patient confidentiality and exhibiting a patient-centered and ethical approach.
