Role Overview
The Head of Distribution is a fully remote, full-time leadership role responsible for crafting and leading Spektra's distribution strategy and operations. This position supervises partner onboarding and relationship management, ensuring custom distribution solutions that maximize audience reach. Daily tasks involve designing and refining distribution channels, handling logistics coordination, and working with internal teams to align product storytelling with targeted audiences.
The role involves managing and mentoring a growing remote team, establishing scalable processes, supporting sales engagements with potential partners, and analyzing performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities & Expertise
- Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive distribution strategies.
- Oversee onboarding and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with companies and creators.
- Supervise and coach a distribution-focused team dispersed across remote environments.
- Support sales efforts by negotiating agreements and clearly communicating the company's value proposition.
- Design and streamline logistics and distribution workflows for maximum operational efficiency.
- Manage risk and insurance considerations relevant to distribution contracts and partner operations.
- Analyze performance data to identify opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
- Communicate effectively both internally and with external partners through strong written and verbal skills.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in business relationship management to establish and grow partnerships.
- Demonstrated leadership and team development capabilities in remote settings.
- Sales aptitude with experience supporting partner acquisition and negotiations.
- Expertise in logistics management and operational design.
- Understanding of insurance principles related to distribution agreements.
- Strong analytical skills for data-driven strategy refinement.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration and external engagement.
- Preferably prior experience in distribution, growth, or partnerships within media, technology, or creator-centric companies.
