Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Head of Internal Communications & Change to lead our global internal communications and change management efforts during an eight-month parental leave contract. This pivotal role involves connecting a globally dispersed workforce to company strategy and priorities, strengthening employee engagement, and steering organizational transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement global campaigns that engage 2,000 employees worldwide, encompassing both white and blue collar workers.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, HR, and Corporate Affairs to promote culture, engagement, and change initiatives.
- Establish and embed change management capabilities, tools, and frameworks that empower leaders and managers to guide their teams confidently through change.
- Oversee the strategy for internal communication channels to ensure effective reach to all employees regardless of location.
- Define the narrative and tone for internal storytelling, bringing company values, strategies, and priorities to life in a consistent and compelling manner.
- Advise and coach senior leaders on communication strategies, messaging, and executive presence, including preparing content for town halls and leadership communications.
- Provide clarity and composure in a fast-moving and ambiguous environment, offering focus and structure.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience in leading communication and change efforts within complex organizations.
- Background in change management, transformation programs, mergers and acquisitions, or major business change initiatives.
- Proven ability to influence senior leadership and support them through uncertainty and organizational change.
- Leadership experience managing internal communications teams.
- Aptitude for building stakeholder trust quickly and operating independently.
- Ability to rapidly acclimate to business dynamics, make sound decisions, and maintain momentum during transitional periods.
