About the Role

Proxima Piping Systems Pvt Ltd, based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, is seeking a proactive Finance & Accounts Manager to take full responsibility for the company's bookkeeping, statutory compliance, and inventory/procurement coordination. This role demands a self-driven individual capable of managing finance and operational tasks within a manufacturing and trading context without supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate financial records using Tally or ERP systems.
• Prepare monthly management information system reports, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and manage petty cash transactions.
• Ensure timely adherence to statutory requirements including Income Tax, TDS, Goods and Services Tax (GST), and other regulations.
• File income tax and TDS returns punctually, collaborating directly with the company's Chartered Accountant for audits, filings, and advisory services.
• Maintain all necessary documentation for statutory audits and assessments.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and sales teams to prevent stock shortages or excesses.
• Raise and monitor purchase orders with vendors while reconciling physical stock against recorded stock periodically.
• Assist in vendor negotiations and payment terms from a financial perspective.
• Support budgeting and cost control measures.
• Interact with banking partners to manage working capital, letters of credit, bank guarantees, and other credit facilities.
• Ensure adherence to internal financial control procedures.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in B.Com, M.Com, or MBA specializing in Finance; CA Intermediate or semi-qualified candidates are preferred.
• Between 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, preferably within small or medium enterprises in manufacturing or trading sectors.
• Strong familiarity with Tally, GST, TDS, and Income Tax filing processes.
• Experience liaising with external Chartered Accountants and auditors.
• Knowledge of inventory and purchase procedures is a significant advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; exposure to ERP systems is desirable.
