Graphic Designer

About the Role

Floating Colors Stationery is seeking a skilled and imaginative Graphic Designer to become a part of our printing division. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to craft visually appealing designs while fully grasping client expectations and preparing artwork optimized for print production.

Responsibilities

• Design a variety of print and marketing materials including visiting cards, brochures, flyers, banners, flex, posters, certificates, ID cards, stickers, packaging, labels, and menus.
• Create engaging digital content such as social media posts and other digital creatives.
• Interpret customer briefs to develop professional-grade design solutions.
• Prepare final print files adhering to specifications such as proper bleed, margins, CMYK color modes, and high resolution.
• Carefully proof artwork prior to printing to prevent errors during production.
• Revise and adjust existing designs according to client feedback.
• Collaborate effectively with the printing and production teams to ensure quality output.
• Organize and backup design files systematically.
• Manage and deliver projects within stipulated deadlines.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficient in CorelDRAW, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Basic familiarity with Adobe InDesign is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of typography, color usage, and layout principles.
• Understanding of print production workflows and pre-press requirements.
• Competent in basic English communication.
• Diploma or degree in Graphic Design or a related discipline preferred.
• Between 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a printing press, digital printing environment, or advertising agency.
• Fresh graduates with exceptional designing capabilities are encouraged to apply.

Working Conditions & Additional Information

• Work schedule: Monday through Saturday, full-time.
• Compensation commensurate with experience and skill level.
• Bonus skills such as proficiency with AI design tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Canva AI, Midjourney), social media creative design, packaging design, and knowledge of large-format printing are advantageous.
