About the Role

Keda Ceramics International Limited is looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Trainee specializing in Statistics to join their team based in Miwani, Kisumu County, Kenya. This role offers a unique opportunity for fresh graduates to gain hands-on experience in statistical data management and analysis within a dynamic business environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Gather, organize, and verify data from multiple organizational departments.
• Develop statistical reports, summaries, and dashboards to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Analyze operational and performance data to detect trends and potential improvements.
• Maintain and update databases and records accurately.
• Assist various departments by providing analytical and reporting support based on data insights.
• Identify and address inconsistencies in data to ensure quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts using data analysis.
• Carry out additional tasks as directed by supervisors.

Skills and Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Applied Statistics, Mathematics and Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Open to fresh graduates.
• Excellent analytical and numerical capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to handle extensive datasets.
• Strong communication and report writing abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and accuracy.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
