About the Role
Securitas Security Services Ireland is seeking full-time Security personnel to serve in the Cork region, specifically Ovens, Co. Cork, offering competitive compensation and allowances. Candidates are invited to participate in a recruitment event from 12th to 20th August 2026, conducted online by appointment only. Detailed attendance instructions will be provided after registration.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete all site-specific training and comply fully with all assigned duties according to the Assignment Instructions.
- Regularly review and suggest improvements to Assignment Instructions to enhance service quality.
- Monitor CCTV systems when required and promptly identify and report any health and safety hazards on client sites.
- Remain vigilant to potential threats and environmental changes to prevent disruptions or damage.
- Exercise sound judgment and involve others immediately if situations become threatening.
- Maintain accurate and detailed incident records for reporting purposes.
- Perform any additional duties as requested.
Requirements
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Minimum of six months experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; full training is provided.
- Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient PC skills are necessary.
- First Aid training and PSA License required; Safe Pass and personal transport are advantageous.
- Candidates must provide verifiable work history for the past five years, government-issued ID, and demonstrate flexibility to work full-time hours including days, nights, and weekends.
