Job Overview

This full-time janitor role involves maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of buildings. Responsibilities include performing heavy-duty cleaning tasks such as floor maintenance, carpet shampooing, washing walls and glass, and managing waste disposal. The position supports a secure, hygienic environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispose of trash according to approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and wet mop floors following proper cleaning protocols.
• Relocate furniture and equipment for thorough cleaning, then restore to original positions.
• Clean designated areas using assigned tools and materials, sanitizing all surfaces and adhering to an eight-step cleaning process.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other surfaces to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Proactively identify and address areas needing cleaning.
• Complete all duties as assigned by a supervisor.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations related to facility cleaning.
• Strip, scrub, buff, refinish floors, and shampoo carpets as needed.
• Display professionalism and contribute positively in interactions with customers, colleagues, and others.
• Perform additional related tasks as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous janitorial experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Work Schedule and Location

The positions are full time with flexible schedules primarily Monday through Friday; hours may vary and are discussed during the interview stage. Work locations are primarily at Humboldt - 6901 East Bear Path, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314, with openings available in other schools within the district. Applications are accepted online.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a fixed hourly wage of $18.00.
