The Digital Excellence Centre Team

This team creates products and platforms for Deloitte India focusing on exceptional customer experiences by combining design thinking with cutting-edge technology. The multidisciplinary team includes domain experts, technologists, quality engineers, UX researchers and designers, data scientists, and product managers.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop interactive and responsive front-end interfaces using JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Translate UI/UX design mockups into fully functional web pages while writing clean, reusable code.
• Implement and maintain robust back-end server logic, integrating front-end components efficiently using Node.js technologies.
• Create and manage RESTful APIs for system integrations.
• Design and optimize databases using both SQL and NoSQL technologies to ensure performance and scalability.
• Utilize Git for version control, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with development teams.
• Write unit and integration tests for front-end and back-end components ensuring code quality.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues promptly.
• Implement and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
• Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and developers, contributing actively in meetings and project management.

Qualifications and Location

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines is required.
• Advanced degrees are preferred but not mandatory.
• The position is based in Bangalore, with minimal travel requirements.
• A hybrid work model is adopted with variations based on domain needs.
