About The Ned Doha
The Ned Doha is set in Doha’s landmark former Ministry of Interior building and offers a luxury hospitality experience that blends historic character with modern refinement. The property brings together heritage, elegance, and contemporary style to create a distinctive destination for guests.
The hotel features seven dining venues, 90 thoughtfully designed rooms, sophisticated event spaces, and Ned’s Club — a private members’ club with a rooftop terrace, spa, gym, and a 30-metre outdoor pool.
Role Overview
The Front Office Agent plays a key part in shaping the guest journey from the moment of arrival to departure. This position calls for someone who enjoys working with people, handles pressure well, and is committed to delivering polished, high-quality service in a fast-moving hospitality setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive guests on arrival and departure in a professional, welcoming, and friendly manner.
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures accurately and in line with hotel standards.
- Respond quickly and effectively to guest questions, special requests, and complaints to support a smooth stay.
- Share clear information about hotel facilities, services, and nearby attractions.
- Work in close coordination with Housekeeping, Concierge, Engineering, and other teams to keep operations running smoothly.
- Process payments, maintain correct billing records, and manage cash and card transactions responsibly.
- Keep the front desk area tidy, well-organized, and guest-ready at all times.
- Consistently uphold luxury service standards and contribute to strong guest satisfaction.
- Assist the Front Office team in delivering efficient operations and excellent service outcomes.
- Complete administrative and day-to-day operational tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in front office or another guest-facing hospitality role is preferred.
- Strong communication and people skills with a genuine focus on guest care.
- Working knowledge of hotel management software and front office processes.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to stay composed, professional, and solution-focused when under pressure.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Professional presentation, positive energy, and a commitment to outstanding guest experiences.
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work well within a team.
