About the Role
We are seeking a motivated freelance Motion Graphics Artist to contribute to growing our business by handling multiple roles alongside creating compelling animations. This is a full-time, permanent position working remotely with core hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Occasionally, early mornings or late hours may be needed during busy periods.

Candidate Profile
Technical expertise:
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially After Effects.
- Proficient with Cinema 4D.
- Experienced in using motion graphics to convey stories effectively.
- Strong conceptual ability to manage projects from storyboard through final production and delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of video workflows, production pipelines, and file specifications.
- Comfortable engaging with clients and excellent in both written and verbal communication.
Additional qualities:
- Ability to independently follow briefs and take initiative.
- Attention to detail in photographic accuracy, color, lighting, and composition, with a keen eye for high-quality visuals.
- Focused on timely delivery and thrives under challenging deadlines.
- A proactive self-starter who thrives in a dynamic studio environment.
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Open to constructive feedback from production teams, directors, and clients.
- Passionate about animation and current trends in film to keep work fresh and relevant.
Key Responsibilities
- Begin work promptly and adapt quickly to team workflows.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Director to ensure all output meets Fudge Animation Studios’ standards and values.
- Create commercially oriented, user-friendly video content adhering to brand guidelines.
- Participate in planning, estimation, progress reporting, and risk management for projects.
- Coordinate effectively with fellow artists and production personnel.
- Work with voiceover tracks and sound design to complete projects.
- Develop storyboards to visually represent scripts and narratives creatively.
- Contribute ideas and perspectives in creative sessions to drive innovation.
- Collaborate with creative teams to understand project scope and goals.
- Work alongside editors, producers, and designers to troubleshoot technical or design challenges.
- Maintain organized folder structures, naming conventions, and version control best practices.
