Role Responsibilities
- Warmly receive guests, often being the first friendly face to start their day.
- Manage cash transactions accurately using cash registers and POS systems.
- Take customer orders and prepare food items based on standardized recipes.
- Assemble complete guest orders including coffee, iced beverages, donuts, etc.
- Follow appropriate food handling and sanitation protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the dining and kitchen areas.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a positive guest experience and smooth restaurant operations.
Candidate Qualifications
- Genuine enthusiasm for hospitality and delivering excellent guest service in a safe, team-oriented setting.
- Experience handling cash and operating point-of-sale systems is an advantage.
- Familiarity with food safety and handling standards is beneficial.
- Capability to function efficiently in a fast-paced environment while paying attention to detail.
- Strong math skills for precise cash handling and order processing.
- Proven ability to deal effectively with customers and resolve issues.
- Good time management skills to organize and prioritize tasks.
- Food preparation experience and prior work in food service are considered assets.
Work Schedule and Eligibility
- Employment entails 32 to 40 hours per week as a full-time position.
- Shifts typically run between 9:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
- Applicants must be legally permitted to work in Canada.
