Role Responsibilities

• Warmly receive guests, often being the first friendly face to start their day.
• Manage cash transactions accurately using cash registers and POS systems.
• Take customer orders and prepare food items based on standardized recipes.
• Assemble complete guest orders including coffee, iced beverages, donuts, etc.
• Follow appropriate food handling and sanitation protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the dining and kitchen areas.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a positive guest experience and smooth restaurant operations.

Candidate Qualifications

• Genuine enthusiasm for hospitality and delivering excellent guest service in a safe, team-oriented setting.
• Experience handling cash and operating point-of-sale systems is an advantage.
• Familiarity with food safety and handling standards is beneficial.
• Capability to function efficiently in a fast-paced environment while paying attention to detail.
• Strong math skills for precise cash handling and order processing.
• Proven ability to deal effectively with customers and resolve issues.
• Good time management skills to organize and prioritize tasks.
• Food preparation experience and prior work in food service are considered assets.

Work Schedule and Eligibility

• Employment entails 32 to 40 hours per week as a full-time position.
• Shifts typically run between 9:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
• Applicants must be legally permitted to work in Canada.
