About the Role
Join our team at the Port Pirie Sports Precinct in South Australia as a Food & Beverage Coordinator, where you will lead and manage the hospitality team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve operational targets. This role involves hands-on participation in bar and food service operations, overseeing sales targets and key performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and coach the hospitality team to ensure high performance.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all patrons.
- Provide detailed information about our product offerings.
- Maintain the bar's clean and attractive presentation.
- Ensure all cleaning and maintenance tasks meet quality standards.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols.
- Handle cashier duties, including taking orders and managing cash transactions.
- Apply proper cash handling procedures using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Promote the facility's services and programs to customers.
- Develop and sustain positive relationships with patrons.
- Work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, and weekends, with increased hours during peak times.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Energetic, friendly, and positive attitude towards work.
- Proficient coffee making and barista skills.
- Flexibility to adjust working hours during busy periods.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
Essential Certifications and Requirements
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification and badge.
- Current Level 2 First Aid and CPR certification.
- Valid Police Check.
- Working with Children Check.
- Legal authorization to work in Australia.
