Food and Beverage Service Expert

Overview

This position focuses on more than just serving meals; it aims to create a memorable and distinctive dining experience for guests, combining excellent food and beverages with exceptional service. The Food and Beverage Service Expert plays a key role in delivering diverse services to ensure guest satisfaction, including preparing dining areas, facilitating communication with the kitchen, engaging with guests, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas and supplies.

Job Responsibilities

Tasks include standing, sitting, or walking extensively on various surfaces; reading and verifying menu information; and manually handling objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance. Employees should also be able to perform physical movements such as bending, twisting, pulling, reaching overhead and below the knees, and other job-related duties as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Less than one year of prior related professional experience preferred.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• No specific licensure or certification necessary.
