Position Overview

Bridgestone EMEA invites applications for the role of Fitter based in Ipswich, England. This permanent, part-time position involves working on-site with a focus on ensuring customer fleets remain operational through regular inspection and maintenance. The role offers a 37.5-hour work week without weekend requirements, providing flexibility for technicians to select working hours that best suit themselves and their clients.

Role Purpose and Responsibilities

The Fitter, also known as a Tyre Technician, plays a vital role in maintaining customer mobility by inspecting fleet vehicles, identifying and prioritizing issues, and resolving them efficiently. The job includes servicing the Slough area and surroundings, utilizing commercial tyre fitting machines available at all covered locations.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold a valid UK full driving licence.
• Reliable and punctual with a proactive "can-do" mindset and eagerness to learn.
• IT proficiency including using laptops, tablets, and mobile phones.
• Ability to effectively prioritize daily tasks and manage workload.
• Preferably with prior tyre fitting experience or commercial tyre fitting background; however, full training is provided.
• Customer-focused with excellent service skills.
• Experience working under tight deadlines and achieving targets is advantageous.
