Role Summary
We are inviting a motivated and well-organized Financial Advice Assistant to join our expanding Newcastle team. This position suits recent graduates or those nearing graduation in business or finance who aspire to support clients in improving their financial wellbeing. No prior experience in financial planning is required, but a strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to a long-term career in financial advice are essential. While the role is full-time and based in our Newcastle office, part-time arrangements are negotiable for suitable candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare client review materials and reports to support advisers
- Assist in research activities and formulation of financial advice
- Coordinate communications and follow-up with clients
- Maintain accurate client records and comply with documentation standards
- Support implementation of financial recommendations
- Perform various administrative and office coordination tasks
This position extends beyond standard administrative duties, offering opportunities to learn directly from seasoned advisers, expand technical understanding, and develop skills necessary for advancing towards a Financial Adviser role.
Candidate Profile
- Completed or expecting completion within 18 months of a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, or a related field
- Strong oral and written communication capabilities
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Enthusiastic, proactive approach with eagerness to learn
- Experience in office administration, customer service, or professional services is advantageous but not mandatory
- Competent in Microsoft Office and comparable software
