About the Company and Role
Our client, a prominent Irish company with widespread operations across the nation, is distinguished by its robust market foothold, customer-centric approach, and dedication to innovation. Located in Dublin 11 and operating under a hybrid work model, the organisation is seeking a commercially astute Finance Business Partner. This role entails collaborating with senior operational leaders to deliver commercial insights and financial expertise that underpin business performance and strategic expansion. The compensation package includes a competitive salary along with a bonus.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to offer commercial finance support and insightful performance analysis.
- Oversee weekly reporting duties and conduct monthly management account reviews, ensuring the delivery of timely, precise, and commercially relevant financial evaluations.
- Administer budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning processes by rigorously challenging assumptions to enhance profitability.
- Examine balance sheet reconciliations meticulously to maintain rigid financial controls and ensure readiness for audits.
- Provide support for operational projects, expense management, capital investment assessments, and evaluations of branch performance.
- Drive finance transformation initiatives, focusing on process optimization, automation, and the integration of digital finance solutions.
Candidate Profile
- Credentials: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification with over three years in a Finance Business Partner or equivalent finance role.
- Possesses strong commercial insight complemented by superior analytical skills and effective stakeholder relationship management.
- Demonstrates proven capability to juggle multiple tasks and positively influence organizational decision-making.
- Proficient in advanced features of Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Copilot.
- Familiarity with Oracle or other comparable ERP systems is considered beneficial.
- Experience in sectors such as wholesale, retail, or foodservice is highly valued.
